Core Staff & Faculty

Pamela Nemon
Pamela is a professional educator and school administrator. She worked for many years in international relief and development, supervising community projects for disadvantaged populations in Latin America. She received extensive training in early child education and emergency health care and has managed pre-schools in Latin America, Europe and the US.

Howard Nemon
Howard was initiated into yoga meditation in 1972. He recevied extensive training in yoga philosophy and practices in the US and in India. For over 35 years, he has shared his deep knowledge of yogic practices through lectures, workshops and retreats in Asia, South America, and the US. Howard has assisted hundreds of people in adopting a diet that is more conducive to their physical, mental, and spiritual development.

Ramesh Bjonnes
Ramesh is the Director of the Prama Wellness Center where lifestyle is considered our best medicine. Ramesh is also a writer, yogi and workshop leader. He studied yoga therapy in Nepal and India, Ayurveda at California College of Ayurveda and is a certified yoga detox theraphist from the AM Wellness Center in Cebu, Philippines. He has taught workshops in many countries and is the author of four books, including Sacred Body, Sacred Spirit (InnerWorld) and Tantra: The Yoga of Love and Awakening (Hay House India).

Dr. Sid Jordan
Sid has combined a career as a licensed clinical psychologist and yoga teacher since 1971. As a clinical psychologist, he taught psychotherapy and community psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and served as director of the Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Services in a community center at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC over a period of 25 years. Since 1994, he has been developing a green intentional community north of Asheville on 140 acres of land.
Yoga Instructors

Radhika Banu Bjonnes
Radhika is an experienced and dedicated yoga and meditation teacher, aromatherapist, and a practitioner of various creative movement arts. She has been practicing yoga and meditation daily since 2001. Â Radhika holds a 60 hour certification and a 400 hour Diploma in Rajadhiraja Yoga from AMYA, and a 100 hour certification in Yin Yoga led by Victor Chng.

Kris Moon
Kris has been a dedicated student of yoga since 2007 and a certified teacher since 2011. In India, she immersed herself in yoga & Ayurveda, and studied vipassana and Zen meditation. She balances her training in the East with continued study in the West.

Lindsay Majer
Lindsay discovered yoga in 1998 and hasn’t got off the mat since then. She completed her 500-hour teacher training in 2016 and her 200-hour teacher training in 2014 through Lillah Schwartz’s Transformation Yoga Trainings. Lindsay has studied with Roger Cole, Elise Browning Miller, Simon Marrocco, Matthew Sanford, Mary Obendorfer, Eddy Marks, and many other notable teachers. She teaches in a variety of settings from group classes, wellness retreats, and one-on-one privates.
Massage Therapists

Danielle Rottenberg
Danielle graduated from the Asheville School of Massage and Therapy in 2010. As a massage therapist, Danielle integrates myofascial, swedish, deep tissues and trigger point therapy. She enjoys individualizing the massage style with that of the clients needs. She has found massage therapy to be an integral part of healing and well being. Since 2010 she also has received training in Abhyanga Massage and CranioSacral at the Upledger Institute.

Jess Ames
Jess has been practicing massage and bodywork since 1994. Certified in Kripalu Bodywork and Yoga instruction, nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and trained in Reflexology and Shiatsu, she combines modalities depending on what the client needs and requests. An avid student of plant medicine, Jess loves gardening, hiking, foraging and making medicines and natural skin care products from what she grows and finds.
