Cleansing & Detoxing Carrot-Spinach Juice

Spinach has loads of iron, calcium and other vitamins and minerals and juicing it is one of the best ways to get its benefits. Here is a simple and delicious recipe using apples or pears with carrots and ginger to make spinach most palatable.  It’s really delicious and a great way to cleanse at home!

Ingredients:  (use organic when possible)

1 cup Spinach

3-4 branches of Swiss Chard

3 Carrots

1/2 inch of Ginger

2 Apples or Pears (or both!)

Optional added ingredients: Lemon juice, fresh Pepper or Cinnamon

DirectionsWash all your ingredients well and juice through a centrifugal juicer (not a blender).  If you only have a blender, yes, you can still make fresh juice and juice cleanse!  Learn how to make juice if you only have a blender, HERE.
