I have loved it all – even the harsh hiking (LOL). The poems were lovely. Food was delicious. Silence is golden. Putting our sticks in the fire was great. Having a schedule provided security. The yoga teachers were fantastic.
Honestly this experience has been life changing. I’ve enjoyed it immensely! I loved the yoga instructor, the food, all of the presenters and all of the exercises.
I really enjoyed the building of the meditation sessions (increasing in time). I also enjoyed the theoretical overviews of meditation and yoga – that framework will help me in the future. I loved the food and the deeper discussions about joy and incorporating joy into meditation – that was a perspective that I hadn’t thought of before.
I loved all of the different types of meditation, particularly the heart one at the end. The process all had great wisdom at just the right time. The guides and team did an excellent job of holding space, guiding the process and allowing us all to go deeply within for a profound transformation.

I was looking for a retreat to relax and get away from the busy lifestyle. This retreat was so much more than I expected. I learned to like yoga and meditation which I had not been interested in before. I learned to eat properly, to be the best that I can be.
Coming to Prama feels like the ultimate act of self-care which feels so necessary in these tumultuous times that we live. I love Jessica’s yoga classes, Ramesh’s lectures, and Sid’s group on the Cycle of Change. The kitchen staff also place such tender care into the juice and food preparation.
Prama is genuinely a life-changing hidden gem. The facilities are peaceful and comfortable and quickly feel like home. There is also deep wisdom, experience, and knowledge within those walls. Our teacher, Ramesh, is one of the most gifted educators you will ever encounter. He can distill complex health philosophies, models, and sciences from around the world into digestible forms that give hope and clarity I had never experienced.
Encouragement, support, and community are the biggest takeaways for me. These are the building blocks that I personally needed in order to achieve my goals following the 5-day retreat. Unforgettable experience.

I know it sounds like a cliche but, to keep moving you have to take care of yourself. I must admit, self-care did not come easy to me, I can give easier to everyone except myself. Although, through burnout and stress, I realized just how important self-care is.
