Weekly Classes

Tuesday Night / Downtown Asheville

Each class will focus on yoga postures from 6:30 to 7:40 and meditation from 7:45 to 8:30.  This is an open class that you may join at any time.  In the Spring and Fall we will offer an 8-week series on yoga and meditation practice and philosophy.

Breath centered integrative yoga and meditation practice for all levels.

Topics for 8-week series will include:

  1. Introduction to Asana Practice  and 8 limbs of Yoga  
  2. Breath Control/Asanas and Yamas of Yoga Ethics
  3. Cakras/Hormonal Balance/Asanas and Niyamas of Yoga Ethics
  4. Spine/Asanas and Introduction to types of Meditation
  5. Energy Body (Prana)/Asanas and Diet/Gunas/Fasting
  6. Circulation/Lymph/Asansas and Mantra/Meditation
  7. Stress/Relaxation/Asanas and Kiirtan/Meditation
  8. Home Practice/Asanas and Home Practice/Meditation
