Program Description


This groundbreaking program—combining mindfulness meditation, yoga, juice cleansing, and the latest discoveries in addiction therapy–will teach you the secrets to overcome cravings and to create good lifestyle habits so that health and vitality can naturally emerge from within. The right combination and quantity of certain foods and herbs, coupled with learning how to manage stress and compulsions, has been proven to eliminate food cravings and reduce weight safely.

The cutting edge information in this uniquely designed retreat was developed through the combined experiences of the director of the Prama Wellness Center, Ramesh Bjonnes, and licensed clinical social worker and yoga teacher Larry Farber.

Ramesh Bjonnes’ background in Ayurveda and naturopathy will introduce the secrets to long term weight loss, good sleep, great energy, and vibrant health.

From Ramesh, you will be introduced to:

  • The use of certain ayurvedic super herbs for your specific mentality and body type.
  • How juice cleansing will detox and heal the body naturally.
  • The keys to reach optimum health and weight by combining the rights foods and herbs to reduce cravings.
  • How good digestion leads to good health.

Larry Farber’s (csat-c) focus during this retreat will be to assist people who are challenged by compulsive eating, drinking and other addictive tendencies.

From Larry, you will learn:

  • Practical tools to make healthier choices and gain more mastery of your actions.
  • The differences between the mind and the brain and how to utilize both to make successful choices to reach your desired goals.
  • The Pleasure Principle, and how working with this law will help you make better choices.
  • An understanding of both physical and psychological dependence and which substances are the cause of each type of addiction.
  • How to allow others to help us become accountable, and to keep making the positive actions and changes we need and want.

Our cozy meditation room offers a comfortable space for mediation, yoga and wellness classes.
Our door rooms are the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate during your Yoga Detox programs.
Our cedar sauna and endless pool are always available during your stay with us.

Cancellation Policy

Prama Wellness Center reserves the right to cancel a ‘Prama Wellness Center Organized’ program at any time.  If the Prama Wellness Center cancels a program, you will be given a  minimum of 1 weeks notice and receive a full refund.  Cancellations by Prama Wellness Center can be transferred to other Prama organized programs.

Refunds are available (less a $50 processing fee) up to fourteen days before the start date of the program.  If a cancellation occurs between fourteen and two days before the start date of the program, your fee can be transferred to any other Prama organized program (less a $50 cancellation fee) within one year.  No credits or refunds are available for cancellations two days or less before the start date of a program, or for no-shows, or for leaving an event early.  People cancelling 14 days or less before the start of a program can also transfer their space and fee to an unregistered participant.  Please allow seven days for processing of fees.   Refunds will be issued by check.
