Try this delicious, oil-free, vegan quick and easy dressing. It’s perfect for salads, sandwiches or as a yummy dip for crudités or a vegan charcuterie board!
Ingredients: (use organic when possible)
1 teaspoon ground flax or chia seeds
1 teaspoon mustard, preferably dijon
1-2Tablespoons vinegar (rice or balsamic)
Sea salt & pepper to taste
Squeeze of lemon (optional)
- Add fresh herbs like tarragon, basil or parsley – or whatever you prefer! Experiment and come up with your favorite custom recipe.
Directions:
Whisk together 3 tablespoons of warm water and the seeds in a small cup or bowl. Let mixture stand for 5 to 10 minutes to thicken. Whisk in the mustard; then whisk in the vinegar. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
