Learn How to Avoid Mistakes and to Do it Right for Your Body Type and Your Lifestyle

Intermittent fasting for weight loss and improved health has become a very popular trend. It involves eating only within a certain window of time and fasting for the rest of the time. However, there are numerous myths about this practice and many people do not know how to do it right, which can be detrimental to health.

There are also other challenges. At this retreat, you will learn how to overcome these challenges and how to do intermittent fasting right.

We will dispel the myths about fasting and help you understand the science behind it.

We will go through the main forms of intermittent fasting and then help you pick the one that suits you the most. You will also learn how to combine several ways to fast and cleanse.

Here are the Five Main Fasting Systems you will learn about during this retreat:

  1. Time-restricted eating: This involves fasting every day for 12 hours or longer and eating in the remaining hours. A popular example is the 16/8. It features a daily 16-hour fast and an 8-hour eating window wherein you can fit in 2 or 3 meals.
  2. The 5:2 diet: This lifestyle involves eating normally for 5 days of the week and restricting your caloric intake to one small meal of about 600 calories on each of the remaining 2 days. You will also learn how a 5:2 lifestyle can even be better if you eat healthier than a “normal diet” during the 5 days.
  3. Eat Stop Eat: This involves a 24-hour fast on juice, water, or lemon water once or twice per week.
  4. Juice and water fasting: You will learn how to make the best juices and about the optimum way to juice and water fast. You will also learn how to do a long juice cleanse to help with chronic health issues.
  5. Dry Fasting: This is a special yogic method of fasting for 24 hours without food or water, but only a few times per month.

During the retreat, we will practice juice fasting for one day and intermittent fasting with food for the other two days, so that you can experience how to do everything right.  There will also be meditation and yoga sessions to support our efforts to improve our diets and health in general.
