A Prama juice cleansing retreat is the perfect choice for those who want to experience the full benefit of the Prama Wellness Method. Here is what is included in this retreat:

Juice Cleanse: As the main focus of our juice cleanse retreats, Prama provides different types of juices to help eliminate toxins and improving your digestive system, internal organs and the bloodstream. This is particularly essential if you have been diagnosed with any condition affecting your liver, kidneys, colon or other vital, internal organs. The juice cleanse gives your body a chance to gently detox while receiving high doses of much needed micro-nutrients from the liquid fruits and vegetables. One specialty of our juice procedure is that we serve the juices in a soup bowl with a spoon to further enhance relaxation, taste, and cleansing during the fast.

Yoga Classes for All Levels: Our experienced yoga instructors teach a gentle style of yoga designed especially for cleansing the digestive system. Small class sizes allow for a deeper focus on individualized care and instruction, so that whether you’re new to the practice of yoga or already have an established practice, you can experience the health benefits.

Comprehensive Workshops: Everyday, you will have a two-hour workshop combining the latest scientific findings on nutrient dense plant foods with ancient and modern knowledge of fasting. In addition, there will be workshops on basic Ayurveda to learn how to incorporate this ancient wisdom into your lifestyle at home. Topics covered in these workshops include: digestion for better immunity, the secret of an alkaline diet, the use of water for health and healing, five types of fasting, the most nutrient dense and antioxidant diet, the Ayurvedic body type, and much more.

Delicious and Healing Plant-based Meals: At the beginning and end of each retreat, we will provide a carefully selected menu of pure vegan meals. We prepare light dishes that offer the combined benefits of enhanced digestion, removal of toxins and balanced nourishment.

Health Consultation: Your juice cleanse retreat will be greatly enhanced by personal consultations with our health coaches who understand individual needs and help you apply holistic health techniques for deep relaxation, release of toxins from the body and weight control.  Our health consultants are experts you can confidently discuss your health issues with. They will offer you professional advice, tips, and detailed information on how to adopt healthy lifestyle habits, discuss your Ayurvedic body type, and introduce positive changes that you can adopt at home to enable you to reduce stress and live a healthier life. These consultations are available at an additional cost.

Other Holistic Options: Our 5-day retreats also include periods of free time that you can use to take advantage of our many other holistic amenities such as mud treatments, cedar sauna, hot tub, or scenic hiking trails.

Choose the Best Juice Cleanse for You

Prama offers juice cleanse retreats of three different durations – a 3 Day, 5 Day, and 10 Day program. All three retreats include light plant-based meals at the beginning and end of the retreat. During the days in between, participants will receive a variety of delicious cleansing juices in the morning and noontime, with broth in the evenings.

The shorter juice cleanses are good for learning about the juicing process and experiencing the detoxing first hand. The longer retreats allow for a deeper cleansing, greater weight loss, and support for achieving more lasting healthy lifestyle changes.

OUR FACULTY

Ramesh Bjonnes

Ramesh is the Director of the Prama Wellness Center where lifestyle is considered our best medicine. Ramesh is also a writer, yogi and workshop leader. He studied yoga therapy in Nepal and India, Ayurveda at California College of Ayurveda and is a certified yoga detox theraphist from the AM Wellness Center in Cebu, Philippines. He has taught workshops in many countries and is the author of four books, including Sacred Body, Sacred Spirit (InnerWorld) and Tantra:The Yoga of Love and Awakening (Hay House India).

Jessica Falcon

A former lawyer turned mystic, Jessica is passionate about connecting people with the wisdom of their body. It is more than a temple; the body itself contains the divine.  Her meditation practice began in 2008, and she started practicing yoga in 2009.  After a spiritual pilgrimage to Europe, Jessica returned to the States and completed a 10-month teacher training with Subtle Yoga.  In addition to teaching yoga, she works as an Activator & Soul Embodiment Coach to help women and men reclaim their sacred, sovereign power to embody their divinity so they experience the ecstasy of full-bodied freedom. 

Ren Nahui Cuahtli

In Jacksonville, FL, Ren was a chef for two years at Shakti Life Kitchen, where he immerse himself into the intricate understanding of food as medicine. In 2010, he moved to Asheville and worked with the American Herbalist Guild for four years. In 2013-2014, Ren trained in massage and bodywork and learned Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Rhythmic Jostling, and Swedish Therapy. He is currently working toward acquiring all of his Thai Massage Certifications. He have been practicing massage therapy for 8+ years as well as herbalism and a holistic diet for the past 12 years.
