Spring is the perfect time for renewal—both inside and out. That’s why we’re excited to introduce a new version of our beloved Juice Cleanse Retreat at the Prama Wellness Center on May 29-31. This retreat is designed to help you feel lighter, brighter, and more deeply connected to your natural vitality.
This retreat is ideal for first-time participants curious about the benefits of juice fasting. With just one gentle fasting day, it’s a safe and easily manageable program that allows your body to reset without the intensity of longer cleanses. You’ll nourish yourself with freshly prepared juices, herbal teas, and soothing vegetable broth throughout the day—all while learning practical tools to continue your wellness journey at home.
At the same time, returning retreat-goers will find new inspiration and advanced techniques. Our skilled facilitators will lead hands-on workshops on making herbal super-smoothies and specialty cleansing juices, exploring ingredients that support energy, immunity, and deep cellular renewal. You’ll leave with both confidence and creativity to keep your juice cleanse-inspired lifestyle going.
What to Expect
Over the weekend, you’ll enjoy a holistic balance of:
- Gentle Yoga and Guided Meditation sessions suitable for all levels
- Workshops on the fundamentals of juice fasting, intermittent fasting, and juice design
- Practical demos on selecting the best juicer, making antioxidant smoothies, and preparing healing tonics
- Optional wellness tools such as enemas, and sauna sessions for deeper detoxification
- Delicious plant-based meals on Friday evening and Sunday breakfast and lunch to gently ease your body into and out of the cleanse
Throughout the retreat, you’ll be surrounded by the peaceful forests and mountain views of the Blue Ridge—a setting specially chosen to restore harmony between mind, body, and spirit.
Why This Retreat Is Special
Whether you’re looking to reset your health, reignite your energy, or simply take a mindful break, this retreat offers a rich blend of education, rejuvenation, and community. With our small group size (maximum 16 participants), you’ll enjoy personalized guidance and support from facilitators who embody Prama’s holistic philosophy.

If the body naturally detoxes every day, even while we sleep, why is it still important to detox with a juice cleanse or alkaline superfoods? Because the food we eat is not always healthy or alkaline; it may contain too much acid-producing processed flour, sugar, animal fat, and dairy. When we overeat, too many toxins are left in the body. Stress is another reason; too much work and too little sleep will create imbalances in the body’s digestive ecology.
